At ZIC ZAC, Allschwil / Basel - September 18, 2014

Yes, we made it! The Basel chapter won the world wide photo contest at Columbia Connects, and our photo was chosen as the winner from over 40 submitting clubs! Thank you all!
We had another successful event, and a wonderful evening. First we met at the business center of Actelion in Allschwil. There we heard an introduction about the research at Actelion through one of our alumni member. Afterwards we followed a guided tour through the exiting new business center of Actelion, built by the world wide famous architects Herzog & De Meuron. That’s also the place we took our energy loaded photo.
After the tour we met at the nearby restaurant ZIC ZAC. Even it was already September; it was warm enough to enjoy our dinner and drinks in the garden. Here some of the members joined us, which couldn’t take part at the tour before. Once again, we had lively conversation, and a nice evening.
Soon 2014 will come to an end. So please take a note of our next event: The End of Year Gathering at the Christmas Market in Basel on December 10, 2014.
