Basel Rheinswimming 2024

The weather was nice and sunny, but the few days before it was rainy and cool. Therefore, the air temperature was ok, but the temperature of the water was rather cold. It didn't bother anyone the same way. Some of us jumped in very quickly, others had to take their time. Ok, the water was quite cold. Nether the less, we let us floating down the river. Some of us even managed to get a decent photo at the Photopoint. On the "Floss“ was a band giving a concert. It had a big audience. At Kaserne, we crawled out of the river. After a quick shower and drying off, we sat down at a table at the buvette. We shared big pizzas and had a drink. After a while of a lively chat, most of us had to walk back to the Tinguely museum to their bicycle, or car. Once again, it was a lot of fun.
